True Meaning
It is snowing outside, my child is asleep, and my husband has banned me to the upstairs so he can finish some last minute wrapping.
I felt this was the perfect time to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.
I used to have a hard time with this holiday. Instead of joy, it brought a lot of pain. If you are in that situation today, my prayers are with you. To get through those times I tried to focus on the TRUE meaning of Christmas. We are blessed and loved by such an amazing Father who gave us the greatest Christmas gift... His Son!
My prayer is you find comfort in that today.
Enjoy your holiday!

Amen!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that this year has been a bit harder on me than most. I've only had Tim home for Christmas the first year we were married, and that's part of his job (which I'm sure you understand), but last year Maile and I were with my parents, and this year ... it's just us.
It's easy to feel down, and sorry for myself, but I'm determined to make tomorrow a GREAT day. I'm thinking birthday cupcakes for Jesus! :)
Merry Christmas!
Jami! You are so right! I think everyone has had those Christmas' where maybe something is missing or something will be different the next year. I know I went through it after we lost my dad, but now that years have passed, the time with family and the resons for the season makes me so much more appreciative and thankful for the here and now! I hope your Christmas was wonderful! Merry, Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas card is so adorable. I love that everything you write, is in someway, about the Lord. I love connecting with other bloggers who write because they believe God gave them a story to tell :)
ReplyDeletePS-I went to follow you and realized I already was.. Glad I am. :)
